Instructions for Uploading Your Blog

• Include your first and last name and the name of the piece in the file name and title of your document. Whatever the format (Word doc, pdf, etc.), please ensure the document title includes those two things.
• Include your name and third person bio in the draft. Ensure your name is somewhere in the document and your third person bio is included at the end.

Media Consent

I hereby grant Soroptimist International of the Americas, Inc. (SIA) / LiveYourDream.org (LYD.org) and all affiliated entities permission to edit, display, communicate, distribute, publish, or otherwise use the content I have provided. 

I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished content, and I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of this content. 

SIA/LYD.org may present this content in any media format in perpetuity. Media formats include but are not limited to various print, digital, video, and social media outlets. SIA/LYD.org shall retain all rights to said materials.

Plagiarism Agreement

Plagiarism is the unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work. Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Using phrases, quotes, or ideas that are not your own without giving credit to the original source/author.
• Paraphrasing the work of the others even though you may have changed the wording.
• Using facts or data not considered to be common knowledge.
• Cutting and pasting phrases or sentences from a website without giving credit to the original source.
