  • Instructions: 

    SIA is seeking to gather information to enhance our understanding of the member experience at the region level. This survey will aid in our efforts to do that with questions on the following topics: 

    • Region officers' installation practices and traditions
    • The roles and responsibilities unique to the Governor and Governor-Elect of your region
    • Region dues and fees assessed to members
    • S Clubs
    • Legacy projects
    • Affiliated businesses

    This survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. It will be open for three weeks and will close December 29.

    Please note that some questions require inputting costs in US Dollars. Please use the provided currency converter next to any questions regarding funds to ensure that you are inputting your local currency in USD.

  • Affiliated Businesses

  • An affiliated business is best described as a club or region activity or fundraising project having one or more of the following elements:

    • an ongoing activity/project without any start or stop dates; OR 
    • the club/region controls or shares control of the activity with another club/region or entity; OR
    • has staffing/employees that are paid or volunteers; OR
    • the activity supports the club/region financially or receives financial or other support from the club/region; OR
    • uses the Soroptimist name, logo, or other marks. 
  • Legacy Projects

  • A legacy project is best described as having one or more of the following elements:

    • a project focused on women and girls but is not focused on SIA's current mission to empower women and girls through access to education; OR
    • a project established many years ago that is not focused on providing support solely to women and girls; OR
    • any project that includes the name Soroptimist in the title (other than the Live Your Dream Awards, Dream It, Be It, or Big Goal Accelerator Projects).
